You are right: better to at least try and be a force for better definitions than to merely complain. I will try and turn my hand to emend the current SV definition.

However, I do hang on to the (albeit empirical) belief that the definitions written are dominated by insiders with their own agendas rather than by independents. Maybe that isn’t borne out in reality? Or maybe that is an inevitablity.
