The Company
Established in 2003, Object Matrix is a software company based in Cardiff (Wales, UK). Its acclaimed product MatrixStore has been used in production since 2006 by broadcast, post production, utilities, banking and creative agency customers.
Object Matrix is comprised of a team of storage industry experts with a shared vision for high levels of data security combined with intuitive user interfaces. In addition to providing solutions and product integrations for the storage, search and retrieval of media assets, Object Matrix also provides consultancy, training, systems integration, and ongoing support services.
Object Matrix is financially backed by venture capital organisation YFM.
Our Markets
We are primarily working with creative organisations and professionals (broadcasters, advertising agencies, publishing etc) helping them to protect their digital assets and make them available on-demand. ”The MatrixStore’ solution is also relevant for any organisation that needs to protect their digital information in a way that both highly secure and cost effective.
Management Team

Jonathan Morgan
Jon founded Object Matrix and brought the team together to architect and build MatrixStore. He is a serial entrepreneur with a talent for well conceived and designed software solutions. MatrixStore is the result of Jon’s vision in 2003 for the need for an easier and more secure way to archive digital data to disk.
Nick Pearce
Nick co-founded Object-Matrix. He has a development, project management, commercial and sales background with companies like EMC, Lucent and Qantas. Nick is currently responsible for sales, marketing and alliances.

Mark Andrews
(Head of Sales) has a superb record of building sales from scratch for small IT companies such as FileTek and Honeywell Control Systems. Previous to Object Matrix Mark worked as a senior account manager for Hitachi Data Systems.
Roger Fawcett – Chairman
Roger has recently retired from his role as Director of Hewlett Packard’s Network and Service Providers business unit across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Previously, Roger held senior executive roles in the IT and telecoms sectors including CEO of the Telecom Media Network division of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, CEO of Eircom UK as well as vice president roles with Lucent and AT&T.
